Katherine Altahif, MD

Katie Altahif, MD practices inpatient palliative medicine on the Supportive Palliative Care Team at Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest in Waco. She serves as course lead for the Palliative Medicine rotation for Waco Family Medicine residents. She is an adjunct faculty member in the Medical Humanities Department at Baylor University where she teaches End-of-Life Care and Bereavement. She graduated University Scholars from Baylor University, attended medical school at UTMB in Galveston, and completed Family Medicine residency and Hospice and Palliative Medicine fellowship training in Waco. She completed the Graduate Certificate in Academic Medicine at the UNT HSC Faculty Development Center.
