Steve Langan, MFA

Steve Langan, who served as Director and Community Liaison for Medical Humanities at the University of Nebraska Omaha, has a background in creative writing and public health.  He is the author of Freezing (2001), Notes on Exile and Other Poems (2005), Meet Me at the Happy Bar (2009), and What It Looks Like, How It Flies (2013).  Mr. Langan developed the course, Writing About Sickness and Health, which he teaches online from his home in Maine.  He makes frequent trips to campus to lead symposiums and writing workshops for the Medical Humanities Program.
